| “This camper would be a fun project for someone! Most of the interior has been painted. Ready to add your personal touch. A lot has been done already. Some of the floor has been replaced and re-insulated. Included are new tile and 3+ sheets of Luaun, extra paint, etc... A center section of the newer floor between the beds will need to be replaced due to a small leak near Tv antenna base that warped it over time. (See pic in front of bathroom door) The bathroom floor is still solid. The water heater / pump and power inverter will just need to be reconnected and tested. Exterior has a few dings, dents and light scratches,still in good condition for the year. I don't know when the wheel bearings were last greased. It was towed last year 100 miles with no problem. If you live far away you may want to stop along the way home and have them greased. Radio antenna tip missing. More info in the item description” |

Hello,
Offering my 1973 28ft.Avion LaGrande up for a no reserve, non stop auction. This classic travel trailer should make someone happy to finish. At this time I"m not able to complete it. So here is your chance to get a nice project. As you can see alot has been done. Serious and prepared bidders only please. Payment due in full with cash at time of pickup. No pay pal! I will describe the camper as best I can. I may forget or not be aware of something. No local sales or personal showings. Pictures can help serve as part of the description. I try to put enough pictures and information in the ad for a potential bidder to decide. Some newer upgrades and original items include: Fridge, electric water heater both newer,
Quartz countertop / back splash /sink covers, A/C cover and newer Awning
Rear Zip Dee awning is still in good shape!
Still has the old untested AM / FM 8 track player with speakers
Entry wall panel with chalkboard paint for drawing /writing
Original sofa cushions are still good looking
Parts of the floor are newer with insulation
Bathroom floor is still original and solid with old tile
4 boxes of Armstrong Rockport peel and stick included (see pic)
Extra left over interior paint,3 +sheets luan, hardware screws, electric cord etc. everything included will be inside.
All the tires hold air with good tread. A spare tire is on back undercover.
I have most everything to finish except LP tanks, battery, and Mattresses.
All pictures taken recently.
Clear title in my name, trailer weighs about 5,000lbs. per title
Front sofa bed,table and side bed frames are just setting there for the pics and not secured. They would need to be removed anyway for the new tile. The exterior water heater cover looks ok but appears to be fabricated. Trailer was towed last year about 100 miles without a problem. I didn"t use sway bars or was I able to plug the trailer in. I used portable magnetic lights. My tow vehicle has the modern round flat prong type plug and not the round pin type plug (tongue picture shows the type of plug). Because of this I don"t know if the marker lights or brakes work. You’ll need the correct plug or bring a long set of magnetic lights.The hitch requires a 2 5/16 ball. A set of sway bars are included. Some windows have little screws holding them closed on the outside. Power jack hasn"t been tested either. If you have a question about the campers condition not mentioned here or need a specific picture of the camper feel free to reply through eBay. Everything that I’m aware of is in this description. I only communicate through email during the auction. The trailer is located about 20 miles north of the Ohio border near Adrian Michigan. Sold as-is!
