Vehicle description
For auction is my beloved 1973 Airstream Excella 500, 31" remodeled travel trailer.
I purchased it in 2015, and everything was original on it. . Original carpet, couches, beds. . all appliances. I bought it with intent of remodeling it and living in it, which I did. The first time around, I lived in it for a year and a half in 2016-2017. After that, I had it in storage, and decided to bring it back out and live in it again earlier this year. At which point I decided to do some upgrading on it and put it through a second reno. I lived in it for a couple more months before I had to move out of state and ended up in a more traditional living situation.
This baby tows like a dream and weighs about 5000 dry, closer to 6000 with all my stuff loaded up in it, i"m sure (I"ve never taken it through a weigh station).
All new PEX plumbing Electronic leveling jack New window screens New water heater New cabinets New paint on cabinets New Backsplash New sink New desk area Electrical has been fixed and updated Braking system was re-done. Tires have always been covered while stored/being lived in. Only time they"re uncovered is while towing. Serta queen memory foam mattress Original gas/electric fridge (works great) Original gas stove/oven (works great) Original A/C (worked great last time I used it, although sometimes the fan gets a little sticky and you have to take off the cover and give it a spin to get it going. Then it blows ice cold) Awning works, but is a little sticky coming out. Two propane tanks All roof rivets have been polyurethane caulked over. Bamboo floors Composting toilet (original toilet hookups can be accessed by removing the last few planks of bamboo in the bathroom) LED lights throughout New epoxy countertop (black marble look)
There is a dent in the front from a tree branch, but it has been mostly riveted out, and isn"t that noticeable. The bathroom was painted with marine (above water) paint on the tub/shower and sink/counter areas, but you can see in some photos that where the water tends to pool a bit, the paint is coming off. I have four cans of Rust-oleum tub and tile that can be applied to that easily which I will sell with the trailer. Any paint and relevant supplies I have in there will come with it (hoses, cables, chocks. . relevant paints)
This airstream has been in loving hands for the last four years.
Sale will include the queen mattress.
Title is clear. I prefer pickup on location, but you can arrange shipping if necessary.
