| “Frame off restoration. The aluminum shell was completely separated from the chassis (which is the only way to replace 100% of the decking on an older airstream) and the C-channel frame was boxed in from the axles to the rear extended bumper. Boxing the channel gives added strength and the extended bumper provides both a shelf for the dual fuel generator and a cool little storage area for misc items. All new bx armored wiring for 120 volt circuits (see picture of what that looks like). The seating area in front sits on top of the fresh water tank and access is available to the tank and pump. The custom made gull wing door perfectly matches the contour of the trailer and is insulated with rigid foam and has six LED can lights in it. When in transit it closes with secure latches and opens easily with hydraulic lift arms. No additional bracing required to hold it up!” |
