Greetings, I have for sale a classic 1972 Avion La - Grande travel trailer. This is the last year of the multi panel roof and denotes the boundary between classic and modern. For anyone who is unfamiliar with Avions they are in the same style as Airstreams and its debateable which are the higher quality, my money is with the Avion. . . . . . naturally! They are built from anodised aluminium and unlike the airstream cannot be polished, hence the reason this one is painted. I have done a comprehensive restoration on this unit over a period of 3 years. Here is a resume of what has been done I may have omitted some things but I am here to answer questions. Subfloor replaced about 40% then overlayed with high quality plastic wood effect flooring in main areas, and looks great. New counter tops through out, New 2 burner cook top, new rotisserie oven (electric) New Fridge freezer (domestic) New ceramic toilet, New inverter/charger, New sofa, Re-furbed A/C unit, Re furbed 6g water heater, new fresh water pump, new dump valves, all new pex piping through out. Re furbed gas tanks, re furbed wheels with 5 new tyres, all new brakes, New bunk mattresses and curtains, New faucets, New power cord, and water hose It is equipped with all utensils, All the interior and exterior are painted cabinets all painted inside and out crockery, cutlery and everything you need to hit the road, and its all new and used once for just 3 days. Only slight negative is the mechanism for the 2 roof vents does not operate. They can still be opened manually from the inside. Reason for sale is, we took it camping one time for 3 days wife hated it did not want to go again. Spent a lot of money and time. Title is clear and is in hand, I will need to be paid in full before trailer leaves its present location which is close to Blowing Rock North Carolina and its cash on collection only.
