Please email any questions for a quick reply.This vintage all-aluminum Avion truck camper is located in Silver Spring , NV where it can be inspected by appointment with the owner. It"s been nicely maintained and the skin is excellent with no significant problems or flaws. The Avion is being sold together with a custom made trailer so almost any vehicle can tow it. $500 will be deducted if the trailer is not needed and the truck camper is being mounted in an 8 ft truck bed. The camper running lights have a working 7-pin plug. Beds:• The bunk over the truck cab fits a double or queen mattress and sleeps two• The dining booth converts into a second double-sized bed that sleeps two• Matching solid wood bed-frame brackets for a finished look for both the upper and lower bunks are wrapped and stored in the camperBath:• Stand-up shower, sink, medicine cabinet with mirror and flush toiletKitchen:• Nice original 3 burner stove with oven• Working Dometic propane and electric refrigerator with small freezer• Stainless steel double sink• Hot water heater is under the sink• Dining booth with original cushions and a large table that pivots and removes for sleepWindows:• Plexiglass windows with aluminum frames are located in all areas for good light• The original screens are in place and in good shape• The original curtain and blind rods and brackets are in place and in excellent shape• The original aluminum frame plexiglass storm windows for all the windows are stored in bubble wrap inside the camperHeat/AC:• The large propane furnace is located in the dining area• Coleman air conditioner works well and blows coldPropane tanks:• 2 horizontal 5-gallon tanks with ODP valves in an exterior tank hatchElectrical:• The complete 110 electrical system connects by RV extension cord to standard shore powerHolding tanks:• Grey and black water tanks at the rear of the camper are easy to access and emptyPlumbing:• All plumbing is in good shape and ready to useRequired repairs and parts:• The Bargman L-100 trailer lock needs a new latch bolt (10-10 040) or repair . • Two of the low voltage lighting fixtures need new shades• New seals are needed for both roof vent fans• Some of the woodwork next to the floor has water damage and could use repairs or replacementTerms:This is a used camper being sold as-is and where-is with no warranty expressed or implied. Buyer is responsible for pickup. Payment can be made by PayPal or cash in person. The purchase price must be paid in full within 3 days. The Avion can be picked up by appointment in Silver springs Nevada within two weeks of purchase.The camper weighs about 2,800 lbs. The payload rating of the trailer is sufficient for the camper plus added gear. The payload capacity of the truck carrying the Avion will determine how much weight you can add when it"s mounted on a truck. A 3/4 or 1 ton truck can handle any amount of added gear and typical items without straining the motor unless stone or other extremely heavy materials are loaded into the camper. Four-wheel drive also enhances the capacity and how easily the rig will ascend steep grades, in particular on rocky dirt roads.There is no title for the trailer . It’s a home built trailer. There was no paperwork or manual with the camper. User guides and brochures are available online along with some above-par user groups and primers. The condition of the trailer is definitely good enough for a long tow however the tires should be replaced. They have few miles on them but were purchased at least 8 years ago. The water damaged wood is beneath the vent fan in the kitchen and entry area. It softened and damaged the wood in the lower entryway just beyond the door and four inches or so above the floor on the booth bench and in front of the sink. The floor is just a bit soft in front of the door and the original linoleum is slightly raised due to the vent leak rather than the door seal not being tight and transferring water. There"s no wing rot on this camper possibly because it"s been parked on the trailer for many years rather than on its jacks. The original Bargman lockset/entry doorknob is currently installed since its latch bolt needs to be replaced.
