Vehicle description
1969 Aristocrat Lo Liner Vintage Travel Trailer Canned Ham Tiny Home. Condition is Used. Put this on your property during quarantine and enjoy a lovely retreat in your own backyard. Or Turn it into an AirBnb when this is all over! Hundreds of hours and lots of money have been put into this not with the intention of selling, but for keeping for a long time. This trailer was originally built to compete with Airstream and the renovations that were done to it really make it have that feel. Also includes some original paperwork! (see the photos)
The details. .
This trailer is around 17 feet long tongue to bumper and the actual camper is around 15ft long and about 8ft across. From the outside it looks small, but this has the best floor plan of any small trailer I have ever seen and is the reason I got this in the first place. It feels incredibly spacious for its size and looks amazing. Clean title in hand and ready to go! There is a Full bathroom with new toilet and a working shower, closet, kitchen with stove, dinette table, couch that turns into bed and tons of storage. All outlets, light fixtures, kitchen sink, shower, and toilet work. New unused Dometic toilet upgrade and new custom tanks. The sink and shower fixtures have all been replaced and work. New custom cushions on the bed / couch with beautiful custom grey covers. High quality Lifeproof brand Seasoned Wood flooring- beautiful and the best I could find when renovating this. Vinyl planking that looks like wood was put over the walls after the old original wood veneer wallpaper was painstakingly removed and replaced. See pics of the walls in the dinette area, near the bed / couch, and in the kitchen. Fresh white interior paint. It was purchased with the exterior painted to a chrome to make it have the stripped down aluminum look. You could still strip it down to the bare aluminum if you want it to be authentic, but then you are going to have to buff it out. I prefer the paint- or you can go ahead and paint it any color you like. Personally, I love how it is currently. Roof and siding and windows have been sealed to prevent leaks. Custom gray and black tanks have been installed. Originally this model did not have gray or black water tanks. Gray drained straight outside and the black tank was part of the toilet. All lights and electrical outlets work. Most if not all of the outlets were replaced and there are two USB outlets in the front. I have successfully had the fridge freezer running, all lights on, a crockpot going, and used the Vitamix with no issues! Faucet and shower and toilet all flow and drain. The water pump works and is controlled in the front on the updated panel (see pics) New working microwave installed. Famous Avocado color stove and refrigerator. Burners on the stove are working, though I"ve never attempted to turn on the oven. I assume it works. Instead of using the main fridge, I installed a Whynter 62 quart dual zone low draw fridge / freezer that would run well on solar ( this model has two compartments that each have their own temperature control settings to the degree so you could have both be a fridge, or one a freezer, both freezer, etc) i n place of one of the bucket seats - you can still sit on it and I have a blanket over it to make it comfortable to sit on top of. I have not tried to turn on the fridge and instead used it as a pantry and used this more efficient fridge as alternative. I have no idea if the original fridge works, but the Whynter combo is amazing and I"ve used it in other rigs with great success. ~ 2 years old but runs amazingly well. Includes everything you see in the pics: working 4000 watt generator, recent model high end Vitamix Professional Series 750 blender , vintage Pendleton Camp Blanket, new Tempurpedic topper, two meditation cushions/pillows, a newer model Crockpot (not pictured), Boekamp infrared heater (not pictured), 5 gallon jerry can of gas, and locks for the generator New propane tanks, both full. New tires. All windows open. Tons of storage! (underneath one of the bucket seats, outside compartments, a closet in the back, overhead cabinets on both sides, lots of drawers and a dresser behind the rear window and I took out the front bunk bed and now instead there is a large shelf area with tons of room. There"s also lots of storage underneath the bed/couch. The trailer is about 99% done in my opinion. A few things off the top of the head that it may need: a few pieces of trim in the bathroom and the closet. I would have done this myself in probably less than an hour but didn"t want to run to the hardware store just for that during quarantine. (Speaking of quarantine, the trailer has been sanitized with Clorox wipes and no one will have been inside it for weeks prior to the sale. When we meet to transfer, I will wear a mask and gloves.) Undercarriage is very solid and has a metal cover over it (not exposed wood like on some trailers) See the last two photos for some old minor damage. It looks like it was backed into something and there was a small dent. It was sealed (and recently resealed and painted over.) Exterior has various small rock dents here and there that would be expected with a 1969 trailer. Please keep in mind that the addition of the flooring and vinyl planks have added to the tow weight of this trailer. I would recommend towing in a truck, not a car like some people do with these things, plus you"re going to need room in the bed for the generator. When it was towed down here originally the exterior lights were rigged up and wired to work, but they were ziptied to the undercarriage and they were removed during the gray / black tank installation because they were in the way. Should be easy to get them going again, but I will include a set of magnetic towlights to get you going ( CZC AUTO 12V Two Sided Magnetic Towing Light Kit for Trailer RV Boat Truck -Magnetic Strength 55 Pounds) . I ordered 1 day shipping and will be at my door prior to the auction ending. Ask any questions you want! This thing rocks! Again, this trailer was renovated with hundreds of hours of work, and was never built with the intention to sell. It was a personal project with the help of many people and was created to be a little mini retreat out in the woods with everything you need to unwind and spend a long weekend. It was built to be like a little cottage or cabin and there were plans to potentially make it into an AirBnB in the future, but I have ended up moving to a city for my career and will sadly sell this and want to see it go to someone who will thoroughly enjoy it as much as I did!
Thanks for looking!
