An unusual new arrival, this fully functional 1968 “HCB Angus Firefly” Land Rover Fire Engine. It has covered only 8000 original miles, having been the on site fire appliance, for the British Rail carriage building depot at Eastleigh in Hampshire. It served there from new, right up till 2005, when it was retired. Since then it has been in the same ownership and just displayed at a Comercial vehicle shows. The working siren is a deafening air raid type, the Blue light is working, and all of the fire fighting equipment is present, which includes axes, helmets torch etc. It has large water tanks, but it also has the equipment to enable it to draw from a swimming pool or nearby river. Could still be used or could be displayed in a museum, either way it’s a lot of fun. For sale at our showroom in Froxfield Hampshire GU321BZ TEL: 0208 871 1357
