Vehicle description

Up for sale is my 1968 2 1/2 Ton 6x6 M35A2, better known as a Deuce and a Half, manufactured by the Kaiser-Jeep corporation. I bought this truck as a toy and really would like to keep it, but I have started a restoration on a vehicle I"d like to put all my time and effort into. The truck is equipped with a strong running LDT-465 Multi-Fuel engine manufactured by Continental, with the desirable "Whistler" Turbo, PTO Driven 10,000 LB Winch, and the standard 5-Speed Spicer Transmission with a 2-Speed Transfer Case. To engage the Front-Wheel Drive, the Transfer Case is equipped with an Air Operated Locker, preferable to the Sprag-type Clutch.
The truck Starts, Runs, Drives, and Stops, and all the lights work. The truck builds air quick, and the tanks hold it as they should even with the truck shut down. The cab has a nice newer canvas top. The only items that I know to be "Un-Serviceable" are a cracked Driver"s Window and Passenger Windshield, and the Driver"s Side windshield wiper is Inop.
At the moment the Mileage and Hours show to be 40,580 and 1487, respectively. It should be noted that the Army was known for changing out the Speedometers and Tachometers in these trucks, and not matching the numbers on the new gauge with the old.
Truck IS currently titled.

These trucks definitely aren"t as common as they were 10 years ago, and this is your chance to own a solid example of a great piece of history. This truck really is fun to drive. I can"t count the number of looks and waves I"ve gotten from folks, and the number of people who"ve come up to me and wanted to know all about it. It"s 50 years old and not a show truck, but it"s ready for a Parade or hard work on a Farm, and I"d like to see it find a good home where it will be appreciated. Any questions, please feel free to contact me and I"ll get back to you as soon as possible. Thank you for your time!
