Vehicle description
Silver Eagle Bus for sale ($15,000 obo) or trade:
Bought this cool looking Silver Eagle bus with plans to do a new remodel on it, but our needs have changed.
Sometime circa 1990, a previous owner had an RV conversion done on it and that is the style you see now.
There is a newer model crown and front and rear bumper which makes it look like a newer model on the outside.
It is about 70% ready to go (depending on how far you want to take it). We have put a lot of cleanup and upgrades into this so far. The whole front end was completely redone since we bought it (it should last a very long time now). The fuel tank was removed, steam cleaned and painted (then put back in, of course). There are many other new parts, including new LED lights all around. A lot of money has been spent on it thus far and it either can be used now (with just a little more work) or finish the upgrading to your taste (and budget). All it really lacks to use it now is furniture and a generator. Most everything seems to work when it is plugged in to electricity. One AC worked pretty good and the other so-so the last time we turned them on. Paint is not the best (see pics). Tires are pretty decent. It runs fine, but has been sitting for several years, and it smokes when you get after it. A diesel mechanic told us that is common on any older Detroit diesel. A great project or use it now as an inexpensive RV with just a little more work.
Clean title in hand.
You can drive it away from here, but it"s being sold "as is, where is." It is what it is. .
40" Silver Eagle Bus with RV conversion.
8V-71 Detroit Diesel motor
4 speed manuel trans.
130 gal fuel tank.
1967 year; model 01, but looks much newer due to upgrades.
Here is a link to see a video of it: https:/ youtu.be/qizijJPPGQQ
Things we may consider as trade:
A late model supercab or 4-door pickup truck with fairly low miles (can even kick in cash for the right one).
Or also would look at cowboy or Indian collectibles (old pawn jewelry) or other Old West antiques as trade (we own a Western Trading Post). Old guns, collectibles, etc.
Or a combination of those things.
