Vehicle description
Up for auction in a very rare Vintage 1967 Little Gem travel trailer. These camper do not come up for sale. There are not many out there. This is a project trailer. It has been used as a hunters camper for several years. It does not have any known leaks. The roof is solid, the floor is solid besides a soft spot right in front of the door. Some of the windows in the door need replaced. a window in the front needs replaced. The windows on one side do not crank. Unknown if electric or plumbing works. I purchased it from a gentleman in the regards of restoring it but was able to purchase a travel trailer that would work better for our family. Dents on outside from normal wear. Original cushions, and original working table.

Schiebout was a very popular Trailer Company in Michigan. This Company started out as Schiebout Little Gems in Grand Rapids, MI. He Incorporated in 1966 and Schiebout Mfg.Co became Gem Industries Inc. Schiebout built very good units and was a small family run business. Their trailers were hand assembled and family members inspected each unit before selling them. At one time the number one selling travel trailer in MI., as well as one of the most popular travel trailers in the U.S.! Some of the "unique" features found on many Little Gems are the exterior contour touches, the crank out door windows,"stow-away" beds on the smaller units and "rounded" corners on the newer units. Little Gems are not nearly as commonly seen as many other vintage trailer makes and models.
