Vehicle description
This 1967 Avion has been 75% renovated. What remains of the original wooden interior is all that was salvageable and will still need some TLC, unless you"d prefer to pull it out as well.
The Avion was gutted, then new insulation and electrical lines were run throughout. The cavity beneath the sub-floor was insulated and new plumbing installed. 90% of the new interior aluminum has been rehung and a granite and soapstone tile floor installed in the bathroom. The rest of the flooring is just peel and stick, to make it easier for you to customize.
The water tank has been professionally sanitized and re-installed and the bathroom was updated with a Nature"s Head composting toilet to save on water consumption. For climate control, a new Atwood Air Command A/C unit and Wave-8 propane heater, installed in 2017 and 2018, respectively.
What"s left to do? Finish hanging the aluminum, install lighting of your choice, run the fresh water lines to your new shower and put in a water heater. Then it"s all about interior decorating. Want a tiny tub instead of a shower? A full sized murphy bed instead of the standard twins? Fold out couch or dinette up front? If you have a creative streak, this project is for you.
Included are lots of spare parts, materials, and tools to finish the project; including air-compressor, rivet gun, and electric aluminum shears.
The one glaring flaw is the scrape where she was side-swiped five years ago. And there"s one broken pane of glass in the tri-fold window up front.
