Up for bid is a classic 1967 Apache Mesa soft side pop-up camper, manufactured by the Vesely Co., Lapeer,Mich. Serial # M-5997-7. Fresh barn find. Ready for a restoration. Body and frame are solid. Plywood floor is solid. Tires are great. Comes with original stove top, sink, water tank, propane tank, screen door, table, leveling jacks, and support legs. Title in hand in a couple weeks. All frame work is complete and functional. The top cranks up ok, "with a little help from your friends". The aluminum top has a few dents and dings; I"m sure there"s some camp stories to go with them! This little guy does need a new canvas. There are a couple of companies that make them from the original patterns.You can pick your own colors. Look up Apache Camp Trailers. Other needs: seat cushions, oven, mattresses, one tail light lens, latches and maybe carpet. This would be a perfect winter project. There are several Apache Camper Jamborees during the summer.
