Vintage 1967 Airstream Overlander 26 Foot Trailer Project - Tiny House Glamping
Trailer is in overall good shape for its age. It is mostly intact and original. Body has no major damage other than a scrape on the right side and some of the underbody needs to be reattached due to a blowout. A piece of glass on the LH side was replaced with plexiglass, but all other glass is original and in good shape. Interior has original cabinets, etc. with most of the original plastic bins. A newer AC unit was installed at some point. This trailer features the blue bathroom area, which I haven"t seen in any of the trailers I have had. Toilet was taken out and divider curtain is missing. Floors are VERY solid even in the threshold area,which is a notorious problem area in Airstreams.There was evidence of rodents in the trailer, so it will need a thorough cleaning when restored. This model has two double beds. Couch and bed were left in, but the foam is stiff and flaking. The systems have not been checked, but assume they will need to be gone through. Temporary trailer lights will be necessary for towing. Trailer does tow well and has four brand new 10 ply trailer tires on the original rims. Two hubcaps are missing. This is a great start to a restoration and is a very manageable size. Perfect project trailer to work on in the cooler months to prepare for adventures. I have a clear Arizona title, notarized and ready for the new owner. VIN on title is missing the second S that is on the body VIN, which should"t be too much of a hassle to get corrected.
