*Look for the second Interior Video at the end of this video. . Drive Train: - Powered by a 1990 60 Series Detroit Diesel engine pulled from a fire engine with 78,796 miles. The Stock output rating was 450 HP and a max of 1550 ft lbs. of torque. A new turbo was installed at time of engine conversion and now estimated HP output is approximately 500 HP. Gauge assembly was transferred from the fire truck to the coach so all mileage is relative. All fluids and filters were recently serviced (@ 174,238 miles) and is ready for the road! - Allison 741 Automatic Transmission w/ retarder offers superior strength and ease of operation. - 8.1 MPG Average means nearly 1200 miles from the equipped 146 gallon diesel tank. -Rear Axle gear ratio is 3.36:1 which increased cruising speed and economy. -Engine batteries (2) replaced on 7-10-2017
Suspension and Handling: -Ross Power Steering Unit with tilt wheel offers a substantial improvement in handling and comfort. -Rebuilt front brake system on 7/29/2015 -Tires: (2) front, and (4) drive tires replaced new @ 170,672 (Less than 7,000 miles on them). . Alignment completed after new tires installed. -All suspension, steering, and brake components are routinely inspected and in excellent working order. .
