This is a vintage 1964 Ideal Travel Trailer. Interior sleeps 6: lower full size bed converts into sofa with bunk bed above, and dining table booth seating also converts into a bed. Kitchen has a sink, stove, oven, and refrigerator. Bathroom has a sink and a toilet. The front window has an air conditioning unit installed. There is plenty of storage throughout, including a large closet and a number of smaller storage compartments. The trailer itself pulls well and tires are in good repair. Tags are current.
Full disclosure: This trailer is in need of some TLC and is priced accordingly. The exterior has typical dings/dents for its age and has been repainted black and white. The siding looks like it"s been patched over the years, but we have not observed any leaks in the two years we"ve owned it. Some of the locking mechanisms on the exterior compartments need repair/replacement. All glass is in good repair. The interior needs restoration. We are not sure if the appliances are still functional. With some care, this would be a cool vintage trailer to take down to the beach.
We bought this for our kids to use as a play house on our property and never used it for actual camping. We can"t speak to the functionality of any of the appliances (sinks, toilet, stove, etc.) because we"ve never used them. We thought we might restore it some day, but we are moving so the trailer has to go.
