RE-LISTING. .BUYER UNABLE TO COMPLETE TRANSACTION. If you like vintage campers, you will appreciate the potential in this one. Not perfect, but nice interior for the year. While the outside could use a paint job and a little love, I would say that the interior is about 90% original and not too bad for being almost 50 years old. The fridge has been replaced (needs the decorative front panel) and the furnace has been removed (check out the filing cabinet in it"s place, Lol). I would probably install a catalytic heater for heat. The stove, oven, and water heater all work. The upholstery is original and not bad considering it"s age. The plumbing, electrical and air conditioner seems to be working OK as are the tail/brake lights, and blinkers. The clearance lights are not. The 110 lights and outlets are working but a new battery is needed to check the 12 volt lights. Water pump is working and fresh water tank checks out OK. Tires are fine and I will include a bearing pack in the sales price to make sure it makes it safely to it"s new home. The interior has some water damage in several places. Because only allows 24 pictures, I am unable to include all pics of water damage, but I have included some. If you will message me through eBay, I will gladly send more to you. Although this is an as-is purchase, I want to be up- front about any problems or imperfections it has and sincerely want you to be happy with your purchase. Ask all the questions you"d like and request more pictures too. I"m always happy to answer! One of the things I like about the older Ideals is the solid 2 X 2 framing behind the paneling. I"ve had a couple and they are very well built. It"s already made it 48 years. . hoping someone will give it a little love and see how many more she has in her. Thank you for looking!
