Vehicle description
I have a used, 1964 Comet Camper. I am not home to look at the title for the VIN#, but the title is clear and I have it. Its 14" long and has a 6" head clearance. It has been used for a lot of fun camping trips. A professional RV restore company in Montrose, CO looked it over thoroughly, made all seams, windows, and roof watertight. Repacked the bearing, changed the light wiring, and tested the brakes. It is on a steel frame making it very solid. The ceiling needs cosmetic love, but does not leak. It has a twin bed (which could be made into a double with some plywood and corner support) and a bench seat right now with a small dorm style refrigerator. All window glass in great condition, windows work well and all have blinds. It has a deep cell battery that is in good condition. All the lights work and it is ready for the road. Current registration. It got a new awning 4 years ago and was not extended for the last two years. There is an electric outlet inside if you were to be at an electric campsite or had a generator. I comes with a port a potty and privacy tent. NO! it does not have a shower, toilet, sink, stove inside. You could put a cute table inside and crack one of the windows and cook easily. This camper would make a great traveling retail shop, art studio, spare room, kids hide out. . whatever! I had some of the walls that had past water damage replaced with new plywood. I installed a laminate wood floor. Picture it with the awning out, twinkle lights, chairs, etc. Magical. I am enclosing photos of it with my kantha throw, pillows, rug, etc. Not included. The large brown pillows are included. With some love, know how, paint (or do nothing. .) this camper needs a new home that loves adventure.
