Rare 1961 Comet camper. Very solid. heads turn when this is on the road. over all good shape. wouldn"t take much to add some upgrades. has good working electric brakes. good tires. brake lights, turn signals and night lights work. no leaks. pulls great. window cranks all work. all screens are there. bathroom vent needs latch. new weather stripping on entry door. lots of storage. couch is a futon only used a few times, table and cushions are newer. storage under benches. has shower but never tried it. holding tank and toilet tank have no leaks. recently recoated roof. does have some existing hail damage that doesn"t distract from its looks. I use oil base paints that have held up great. mostly have to redo front top every few years if I don"t cover it because of sun. electric 110 works. one light at back switch doesn"t turn. has original water heater that has been disconnected. it may work or be repairable. heater works. stove burners work and have used the oven. has an aftermarket ice box. has pump faucet. one corner plexiglass has a crack that I drilled holes to stop and then sealed. has been that way for the 12 years weve owned it. one dent from a tree branch falling on top right corner. floor has never had any rot.have replaced crank jack lift. original is available if someone wants to rebuild it. for being nearly 60 years old the minor imperfections are far outweighed by all the positive parts of this unique camper. have yet to see another like it. please email questions. more photos available. there is no rush on picking this up. no storage fees and pick up at your schedule. 18 feet from back to end of tonque.
