Vehicle description

For Sale: 1963 Serro Scotty Sportsman Travel Trailer. This is the Gaucho model, the bed slides back to become a couch. The dining table also folds down to become a smaller bed. It has a two burner propane stove, an Ice box and a small sink. Water flows either via hand pump from the 5 gallon water tank or from the faucet if you are hooked up to a water source . If you are pluged into 110v power, the original propane light has been converted to 110v and there is a 110v light above the table. There are also three 110v outlets and a battery powered LED lantern. It"s 13" long including the tongue (10"X6.5" living space that"s 69" tall.) The hitch height with the trailer level is 13-1/2" and requires a 2" ball to tow. This is a really light travel trailer at 975lbs dry. It"s size and low profile fits most garages. (The outside height 76" when the trailer is level) The door locks as designed from the inside and out. All windows open and close properly and screens are all good. There"s a lockable storage area that is also accessable from under the bed/couch. I bought this cool little trailer in 2016 (from the man who rebuilt it) to drive Route 66. I needed a rig for two people that was light enough for my 1983 Mazda B2200 Diesel to tow. We spent a month adventuring down Route 66 ending up at Lake Casitas near Ventura. Since then we"ve have had lots of other (shorter) adventures with the Scotty without any problems. This trailer is a fun little unit two people can move into the perfect position in the smallest of sites whether you have hook ups or not and can be towed by just about anything. The only modification I did was to weld a receiver on the rear bumper for a bicycle rack. This Trailer is titled and Located in Portland, OR and the registration is good through March 2021.
