Vehicle description
Please watch two videos on YouTube of the trailer to get a more viewing areas and condition. type in Avion inside For the first one and Avion outside To watch the second one. I took different pictures in different lighting so you can get a feel for the trailer. Please super size and zoom on pics and watch the videos. Nothing hidden, great original T-20 single axle and dry weight of only 2740.lbs. outside length of 21"4" and inside is 17"4" 1963 T-20 Avion Travel trailer purchased from the original owners family! I have a clear open/signed off title from the previous owner. EXTERIOR- The skin is overall in very nice original condition and shows very well. There is a dent on the top front right but is not very visible unless you stand far back from the trailer, otherwise you never really see it. Back in the day the original owner was working on something and his knee went in to it. Can be taken out by a professional trailer/body shop. There are some smaller creases/dings/dents on the door and some minor body flaws but pretty much just looks great! The rear bumper and front hitch were painted grey and look nice. There are 3 brand new shiny black rims and chrome hubcaps purchased from Vintage Trailer supply. Also 3 brand new quality radial tires. I had the whole screen door and the front left and right side windows re-screened from a professional glass shop in town. There is a small hole in the back/bathroom screen that I did not see at the time because it is not very noticeable. I do not have a key for the door and as you can see the handle is broke off. It does work, opens, closes and latches. The underbelly is in good condition with some light damage in one area but overall is in real good condition. The running lights seem to work and stay on all the time. One of the brake lights is working but not the other. I did not see any of the side running lights come on. I have not cleaned, tried to replace any of the bulbs yet so I do not think it would be difficult to get it all working correctly again. There are two red side running light lenses that need to be replace and can be purchased through vintage trailer supply. One of the pieces of glass on the right rear passengers side had come out sometime and needs to be fit back in. There is some duct tape residue on the frame edges. It does not feel loose and will travel. I do not have a key for the door or any of the tumbler locks for the storage door or to the access to the outside of the refrigerator. They are cheap locks and can be replace easily. There are two newer gas tanks on the front that are full. I have a set of magnetic towing lights with a 4 flat connector that sit on the rear bumper for transporting. The trailer tows excellent with the new wheels and tires. It comes with a sway bar although I am not sure how it hooks up. You will need a 2-5/16” ball on your vehicle to tow. Comes with original red and white awning that is great condition. I saw one little hole in it that they had a rope through for some reason. All the poles look to be there although we have not set it up ourselves yet. INTERIOR: The interior is in original condition and in very good shape for its age. The floor has newer linoleum in some areas, original in the bathroom and a piece missing by the door. The floor feels strong and solid everywhere even in the entrance where there is not linoleum. All of the cabinets doors are in really good shape and all of them opened and close correctly. There is some old parchment paper in some and some areas I already peeled some off but is sticky still. There are some weathered areas on the bottom of the bench seats but nothing major. I am not sure if the interior cushions are original or not. I washed those and they look pretty good, some of the zippers on the back do not work. It does need one new roof vent it is cracked with tape on it. It has never leaked through winter or spring at all even with the tape on it. APPLIANCES: I hooked up the gas and the four burners on the stove work, gas light and I got the oven and furnace pilot lights to fire up. I have not tried the regrigerator or any of the water yet. I was told by the previous owner that everything worked in the trailer when they took it out camping just a few years ago. I could not find the correct plug adapter yet for the electrical. OVERALL: This is a original small lightweight Avion trailer with a great layout with kitchen, bath and couch! It comes with the original awning, manual and paperwork. Trailer has been left untouched for you to put in your own choice of floor and recover cushion color. This trailer is a very basic project and should not take much money or time to get it top notch!
