Vehicle description
I bought this 1963 Airstream Overlander to fix up but for health reasons I can"t anymore. It has the original furnace, fridge, stove, oven, water heater, water pump, tanks, lights and everything. The AC seems to be updated by the last owner it worked the last time I turned it on but you can check it out to see before you buy.
The front door along with all the outside storage doors are in tact. This would be a great project or it has a lot of valuable parts the door alone is worth $800 it"s in perfect shape and most of these parts on here aren"t even made anymore and I"m sure members would love to buy some of the parts off it, but I just am not able to.
The electrical is still hooked up to the univolt charging system. The bathroom is still all together as well as the kitchen. The floor has been ripped down to the subfloor there is a large hole near the entry door so it needs repaired. It also has a large dent on the top front of the trailer and is missing the front window a tree just hit it. I think it"s possible to bang out the dents from the inside or Andy with Inland RV in Corona CA said they have the panels and rivets to replace it along with the window. I started taking the inner front skin off on the front to begin the repair.
It does have the older style hitch but it tows well and has good tires and rims. The rest of the outside body is in really good shape it was under trees by a barn for its life and you can still read the airstream logo perfect on the back and it has all the rest of its windows including the rare little windows by the door.
