This is a beautiful vintage 1962 Airstream 19" Globe Trotter that has been kept in exceptional condition. It has a great skin and has everything you could want to live in. It has been stored inside most of its life and it shows. It is lightweight at 2750Lbs and towed easily. Most Airstreams under 20" are in high demand for their light weight and convenience. I purchased this Airstream last August upon my retirement. This Globetrotter looks like it has been stored indoors most of its life. All the original appliances are in amazing working condition with little use. It is a California Airstream! The skin is in spectacular condition. I live in NYC, and had the Airstream trailered to my daughter"s house near Memphis Tennessee where I was going to keep it in an indoor storage facility in Collierville, TN. I first had it dropped off at an Airstream Service facility in Savannah, TN for a check out of all mechanicals. The only issue was the battery, which I replaced with a heavy duty Interstate. Their techs were amazed at the original condition of all the appliances, even the original ice trays, and every system was in perfect working order. I am a novice Airstream owner and appreciated their time in explaining the working of all the systems. My intention was to spend 2017 on the road touring the US with my wife and enjoying the simple life. A recently discovered medical condition will make my dream impossible and this Airstream is too nice to leave in storage. The buyer will not be disappointed or surprised and the Globetrotter just needs to be hitched up. It needs nothing. Propane tanks are even full! It can be inspected at the indoor facility in Collierville, TN. Town is right outside of Arlington/Lakeland. This is a suburb of Memphis. I live in NY but my daughter Tamara, will gladly meet serious parties for inspection. Airstream has been in storage since Sept. 2015. Clear NY title. Pre 1973, NY only has a registration issued that is transferable. I reserve the right to sell locally. Upon purchase, buyer will deposit of 5000.00 by wire transfer to my bank, with remaining balance paid within 7 days by cash or wire transfer. Sorry had to relist due to use of exterior photos from previous seller. He had EBay remove ad. Have more of my personal exterior photos that I can email interested parties.
