This fantastic piece of history has been remodeled for another 60 years of adventures on the road. It was completely gutted (unfortunately the interior wasn"t completely salvageable), remodeled with top of the line finishes (with matching factory layout), road-tested for 30 days, and ready for your next adventure.
It features: a flush toilet hot water shower retractable kitchen sink faucet (located by window to be turned around and used as an outdoor shower) double door storage bench brand new cabinetry & pantry live edge counter tops brand new vintage fridge brand new flooring all electric (except gas for hot water) and much more (see below)
Here are a few of the improvements we"ve made to this iconic collectible: repacked bearings and axel custom stop plate by door 2 new propane tanks with modern hook-ups exterior metal restoration new top-of-the-line tankless water heater new rv ac unit (with heating component) truck-liner painted frame all new locks and hardware all the way around the exterior restored retractable stairs (with new reinforced custom framing) new custom built awning (pole & rope) all new recessed puck light fixtures 2 new windows new towing chains new vinyl wood floor new custom cabinets new custom pantry new bathroom vanity 2 new live-edge counter tops (kitchen and bathroom) 2 new sinks 2 new top-of-the- faucets professional interior paint job new sealant all the way around new custom built bench with under-seat storage shower tub resurfacing all new electrical throughout (wiring, plates, etc.) all new fixtures (plus some new ones in the bathroom and under the shelves) all new hardware (with click to lock mechanisms) for cabinets and storage new mid-century modern sleeper sofa new vintage fridge new reproduction-grade "airstream" nameplates new battery custom honeycomb vinyl backsplash restored uppers w/ new facia all new pex plumbing throughout We rescued this airstream and brought it back to life because of it"s rich history. It was primarily family-owned for 30 years and meticulously documented (as you can see in the photos). On top of the story, the rarity is high in that it is a 1963 Airstream - which means it boasts aircraft-grade aluminum (discontinued in 1964). Additionally, this easily towable 19ft Airstream is a Globetrotter which were in limited production in 1963 (basically had to be custom ordered - airstream documentation in photos).
