Vehicle description
This is a RARE Shasta Vintage Trailer.
Acquired from a Craigslist seller who claimed to have remodeled it - replaced rotted framing and water damage. I paid $4500 for it, paid $600 to have it transported, and when I got it, zIrealized that my 200 refurb"s of vinatge trailers was way beyond the average wannabe. Paneling was slapped over rotted framing, rotted wood behind body panels was falling out - you get the picture !
We spent another $ 2500 redoing what he messed up. The result is NOT a $ 25,000 frame-up restore. However, it IS a rare precious piece of history, totally campable, like our recent 3 night western Coloradio adventure, and a valuable investment.
Like most 60 year old campers, this one has some dents and dings, but it is watertight, beautiful, and roadworthy. It will go up in value, as we have seen because we are paying twice what we did 3 years ago, and they need twice the work, and selling for twice as much.
Feel free to ask questions, or make in person inspections. We can make any enhancements you wish, for a fee.
Seller has been on Ebay since it opened, with 100% positive feedback on hundreds of transactions, as Buyer and Seller.
Buyer will pay $500 non-refundable deposit, within 24 hours of auction close, with balance due via Paypal or bank transfer within 7 days of auction close.
Storage 30 days free, transport available upon inquiry.
Thanks for looking.
