Vehicle description
This Shasta is in original, untouched vintage condition. She has had leaks and will need to be nursed back to health, a full restoration. She has a ll of her original parts and pieces, including the Shasta emblems, magazine rack, lighting fixtures, a Bargman lock, etc. The skin on this particular project is original and untouched, no horrible paint jobs to scrape and her axle/brakes work as they should. We could sell this one for parts and net far more than her purchase price, yet we would like to see her restored by a true vintage lover. Should you be interested in our restoration services, please see below for a brief description of our business and contact for an estimate/time frames. Thank you and please feel free to ask questions or make a reasonable offer.
Thanks for taking a look! Our family operates a vintage restoration business locally, selling our vintage camper projects all over the US for many years now. We have accumulated far too many projects and are offering several here on Ebay as well as locally.
Each of the projects purchased have been inspected, tested and are road worthy. Some things we look for when purchasing a viable project, good "skin"(easily refinished and fewer imperfections), a good turning axle(driven at least 250 miles by our guys), original parts. This is a 1958 Shasta AirFlyte, the first year Shasta built this beautiful body style. She is currently registered in the state of GA and able to be titled in your state should it be required. Should you prefer to restore in true vintage style, we have many parts available for purchase.
While they are not much to look at now, they will each make a solid project for rebuilding! We could sell this camper piece by piece and net more than the purchase price, but being suckers for a beautiful vintage “girl”, we’d prefer she find a good, loving home. Should you need parts for your own custom restoration, give us a call as we have amassed many usable parts in the ten years we have been restoring these vintage beauties! Happy to help in any way we can.
