Vehicle description

1957 Cardinal Travel Trailer This trailer is in good condition for its age. The trailer has been in our possession for about six years but it has been in my wife"s family for at least 50 years. They pulled it to the east coast and back in the 1960"s behind a 1955 Ford station wagon. Many fond memories but it is ready for new owners. She prefers Holland America now. Exterior The paint is very thin and faded and there are a few minor dings but no major body damage. The back bumper and frame has some rust as you can see in the pics. The front and rear windows have cracks and would need new glass. The door and screen door are in good shape and the keyed lock works. We have keys for the door and all the storage compartments. The left rear taillight and turn signal work but not the right. The length of the body (not including the tongue) is 12" 7", width is 6" 10" and the height is 8". Interior The interior is in good shape and is all original except for the refrigerator. The frig does not work and has been used as an ice box. The upholstery is original as is the floor. I have not used the propane system. There are 110, battery and propane lights. The 110 lights work, I have not tried to use the others. There is some water damage around the windows (see pics) but it has been stored inside for the last 20 years and is very dry. The sink has a pump for use with the holding tank and a faucet for use when hooked up to outside water. I have not used either. There is a double bed in the rear and a single cot that can be used over the bed. The table breaks down for another single bed in the front. All the side windows are crank out glass louvered with screens and are in good shape. It was last licensed and towed in 2013, about 200 miles round trip with no problems. We have a clear Washington title. The vin # is 165733. We live near Spokane in eastern Washington. Purchaser will have to pick up the trailer and transport it at their expense. We will be happy to answer any questions and send more pictures if you are interested. Feel free to call Kent at 509-714-5838.
