1957 Aristocrat. NO TITLE; Very Rare trailer, believed to be a 1957 from vin decoder and from exterior graphics design. Bought trailer with hope of restoring to it"s original glory. Exterior is in very good shape considering the age of this trailer and all the hail damage it had to have dodged in it"s lifetime. Inside is completely gutted except for a few cabinets and rear couch area that needs rebuilt. Needs most everything inside, has new sub floor. front half of floor was completely missing, has new painted 2x4 supports and completely painted and sealed osb; doubled up on front half and then back half has single ply. Very sturdy floor. also has a propane type heater in center of floor, unknown if it works or not, appears to be in good shape. Needs all plumbing for sink and appliances. Needs appliances, were never there when we bought. Door was missing but is back on with a new hinge. all aluminum framing on door jamb. most of the framing appears to be 1x2 and in decent shape, had to replace frame around door as it was not good, used 1x4 oak for frame and beefed up that side of door jamb. very sturdy now. originally this model was painted white with red stripes, most paint is Gone, the aluminum would polish up very nice, but if painted some of the small dents could be filled to ,make exterior like new? Has new tires and wheels, baby moon hubcaps, new side marker lights as the old ones were totally shot, rear lights appear to be original, rough but work. 4 pin plug , that works all the lights, axle seems to have electric brakes, had no idea they had electric brakes then or axle has been swapped out? has all glass, most is glass, some plexiglass but all there
This would be perfect for a true craftsman who knows what they are doing to make this rare trailer come back to life. It would be perfect behind a 57 chevy/ford truck going to car shows, maybe with a nice lounge area, porta pot, coolers the possibilities are endless for something this cool. Could go behind your car as it is pretty light trailer. really would love to see this trailer go to someone who will really appreciate its nostalgia. Sold as is , have No Title,
