Airfloat! One of the oldest names in American Travel coach manufacturing. Production started early in 1930 in Los Angeles. The Airfloat also inspired the original book, "the Long, Long trailer." 1956 is the last year before Airfloat began anodizing the exterior aluminum of some trailers in the gold color. By 1957 all of them were. The man who put Airfloat into production in 1930 retired in 1956 and the last year of production was 1957.This Aifloat has nice exterior skin, the rear has a spot on the passenger side where it was backed into. The previous owner started cleaning out the front interior to start renovating. From the kitchen back it has lots of original interior, bedroom, bathroom appliances are there. Overall length is 35 feet, double axel, original wheels/tires I believe split rims. Porthole windows, and roof vents. Built in cabinets. Needs full restoration, such a unique candidate for any type of trailer. Weddings, events, mobile bar, or awesome Air Band B, maybe a family guest house at your place? Not many Airfloats are around.
