Vehicle description
Good original condition 1950 AIRFLOAT SKIPPER, some structural repairs including frame, interior panels, door, etc. As common in many restoration projects, I have already invested $ way over my asking price, so I am taking a loss at this point.

All original corrugated aluminum panels were removed and put back in place- except door was re-fabricated and front lower smooth aluminum panel is new. Front window is new, some interior plywood panels new and all rubber window moldings are new. dimensions- 19.5 feet rear end to tip of hitch, 7.25 ft wide, 8.25 feet high.
Trailer spent its first 58 years in the California desert, shipped east in closed container in 2008 to restoration specialist in Ohio who works for NASA and USS Intrepid museum repairing Saturn rockets and B-2 stealth bombers. . Driven back from Ohio to upstate New York in 2012. All original kitchen, including sink, fridge, 3 burner stove and all cabinets. I have replacement side lights- 2 orange, 2 red Started striping paint from original cabinets and replaced lower front corner wood with pressure treated, but not enough time or skill :). Used in VOGUE shoot with Karolina Kurcova (the model). Any questions, please ask, glad to add more photos. Thanks for looking. Located 50 miles north of NYC. Much rarer then Airstream, especially this one, the Skipper model.
