Vehicle description
This is a great opportunity for you to buy an extremely practical unit that may save the lives of you and your family or just use it for much needed weekends away from the rat race.
This unit started life as a utility work bed on a 1950"s pickup truck. It now has a very sturdy full frame under it with simple coil spring suspension. It has a new coupler for a 1 7/8" ball, new safety chains, and a new hi-lift jack with grease fitting. I have built a heavy duty adjustable jack leg that fits on the rear bumper. It adjusts to the terrain and when extended you have a 4 point ground contact making it very sturdy and stable.Rails around the top are great places to tie down whatever you haul on top. On the front is a spare tire and matching rim and there is a matching tire and rim hidden up under the back. Just in case crazy things happen, I have included a 12V air compressor and a flat tire repair kit.
The undercarriage has been cleaned and painted, then undercoated with truck bed liner. The wiring is all new, in conduit so it is waterproofed. I built this trailer to have a lot of ground clearance for any terrain.
I have included many items such as: 55 servings of survival food, coffee pot, 5 gal gas can, a small tent with case, a 10x10 pop-up shelter, a pop-up privacy tent, a camping hammock with mosquito netting, 2 camping chairs, a 2 cycle gas generator (700 running watts), a Coleman solar shower, a 5 gal bucket for toilet with a toilet seat and cover and 24 disposable toilet bags, a Coleman camp stove and a charcoal grill, a collapsible water container, 2-16 oz cans of propane, a Lifestraw, a deluxe 6 pc mess kit with case, a jump starter for your vehicle, a fishing pole and a small amount of tackle, 2 sleeping bags, a long handled camp fork, a tool pouch with 5 pc plier set, 25 pc folding hex key wrench set, 12 pc set screwdrivers, 2 water tight survival kits,10 assorted rubber tarp straps, firelog, 12 in 1 multi-tool in case, 5"x7" tarp, 2 paracord and 2 heavy cord.
Camping items: mosquito apray, butane camp lighter, disinfectant wipes, nylon cable ties, 2 solar LED lights, 2 rolls duct tape, bag of large rubber bands, set of heavy fabric repair needles, ink pens, marine/sport horn, crank flashlight, hand crank weather radio, book matches.
Kitchen items: aluminum foil, snack lips, 6" fillet knife, Deluxe barbecue spatula, tongs, strike on box matches, ladle, can opener, kitchen shears, 2 steak knives, 2 sets eating utensils, 10 foam food trays, 50- 13 gal trash bags, 22 quart ziplock bags.
Hygiene items: Toe nail clippers, dental flossers, 100 compressed washcloths, hand lotion, 2 bars soap, antibacterial hand soap, dental care kit, tooth brushes, toothpaste.
Medicinal items: Suture kit, snake bite kit, hydrogen peroxide, water purification tablets, nitrile exam gloves, super glue, hydrocortisone cream, pain relief patch, laxative tablets, cold capsules, lip balm, aspirin, triple antibiotic ointment, anti-diarrheal, athletic tape, sun screen, eye drops.
Hunting and fishing items: 9 snap chain stringer, 35 pc barrel swivels, fish hooks, fish scalers, snare traps, and defense spray.
I tried to include items that I have included in my own bugout bag. It may not be enough for your family but there is plenty of extra room to include your own preferences. I may be adding other items as I think of them.
Ohio homemade trailers do not have titles. It will come with a tag and registration. You can then take the registration to your BMV and buy a tag in your name.
As you know, we live in very dangerous and troubling times. Everyone should have a plan for their family and a way to provide shelter and safety. In the front of our public phone book FEMA has a statement that says BE PREPARED which we should all heed.
