Vehicle description
1952 Oliver "Imp" Dozer for restoration or could be used as is, but I did a cosmetic restoration 10 years ago and it is has been operating on my horse farm, moving muck, grading driveway, snowplowing. I"ve replaced many parts - starter, carburetor, distributor (electronic ignition); all else is original. It runs rough, the number one cylinder is misfiring. The skid brakes work fine in both directions, the clutch and transmission are good, the hydraulics leak at the pump but I keep it topped off. Tracks are worn and sagging, but there is not a lot of wear on the drivetrain. Oil pressure is good. Doesn"t overheat. It has one problem that affects its use - it is very hard to start. The 6 volt battery doesn"t have enough juice to turn it over, so to start it I jump it briefly with a 12 volt battery for more cranking amps. Selling as is for restoration because of the above. Buyer must pick up - no delivery available. It is located on the Connecticut shoreline.
