Vehicle description
Hello,
I"m selling a 1952 Aljoa Sportsman Camper Trailer. It includes nearly all of the original pieces, including the Dixie Stove, Marvel Refrigerator, screen door, sink, booths, tail lights, propane light and electrical fixtures. This camper was in the process of being restored, but the project was stopped half way through. It requires work before all the appliances will work.
The stove needs to be connected to a propane line. The refrigerator works when plugged in, but I can"t verify how well it actually cools off. When plugged in, it starts doing something. That"s all I know.
The sink needs to be connected to a drain line and we"re not certain whether the faucet that we have is the original. There is no water supply hooked up.
The booths need to be rebuilt, as does the screen door.
The windows are in great shape for the most part.
This camper is close to 70 years old, so it has damage:
There is water damage on the ceiling in several places (see pictures). Also, the exterior aluminum is not in great shape.
The tires are from 1952. When I contacted a tire shop, they didn"t even understand the size that was printed on the tire. They"re really old.
The marker light covers are mostly broken. I believe there is only one left.
There is no registration and no license plate. As far as we know, the camper has not been registered in over 50 years. The DMV will take that into consideration and make you pay only a small fee. I"ve done this before.
That"s about all I can think of. We don"t really want to get rid of it, but for $5,000 we would. Thanks!
