For Sale is this 1951 Willys M38 Military Jeep.
If you are in the market for a relatively unmolested and original M38 Jeep then this is the vehicle for you.
This Jeep is still Military 24 Volt - it has never been civilianized. No half-assed 12 volt conversion here. The floors are also in decent shape which is rare.
This is a running project vehicle which will be relatively easy to finish restoring.
We ourselves started working on this Jeep about 5 years ago, but never had time to finish it.
This is the work that has been done to make this a running vehicle:
New Brake System (master cylinder, wheel cylinders, steel brake lines)
New Fuel Tank
New Steel Fuel Lines
The Vehicle was given a Tune Up
Two New Batteries
Rebuilt Carburetor and some other small odds and ends.
Also added New Glass in the Windshield and New Canvas Seat Cushions.
The Right Rear Quarter Panel has been patched (see pictures) and needs to be repaired. The passenger side step is rotted (see pictures) and will need to be replaced.
This Jeep is still quite original and would be a relatively easy restoration. It Starts, Runs and Drives, but might need some further electrical work to make it street legal.
