Vehicle description
This is a fully renovation 1949 Airstream Liner. The Airstream was renovated in 2016 and has only traveled 2000 miles since then. The renovation included a frame-off restoration in which the frame was "beefed up" to add more support.
Body: The body is in great overall condition considering its age. It desperately needs to be polished and hasn"t been polished since it was renovated. There are 3 very minor and mostly unnoticeable dings on the entire body. Other than that, the body is in great condition. The original windows were replaced with opaque plexiglass windows (you can not see into or outside of the camper).
Wheels / Frame: The wheels are in great condition and the axles were replaced when the camper was renovated. The chrome plating has began to rust and needs to be refinished. The trailer comes with an electric tongue jack. There is a 2" hitch receiver.
Interior: The interior includes an AC unit, propane safety system, tank and battery meter, 2 fantastic fans, a stainless steel propane refrigerator, a 200 watt stereo system, LCD monitor, shower, toilet, and sink which all work without issue. It features a queen size bed and a dining table with seats. There are 3, three prong duplex outlets. There are four ceiling lights, a bathroom light, shower light, and five LED study lights.
Systems: 30 amp hookup. Satellite dish ready. It includes a fresh, grey, and black water tank. It also has a water hose connection. It has 2 propane tanks. The propane water heater works without issue.
Issues: It needs a new battery. There is a piece of vinyl on the interior that began to peel off. The steel door hinges have began to rust and will need to be refinished or replaced.
