THIS IS A RELIST DUE TO BUYER BACKING OUT! Up for sale is a 1946 Spartan Manor 25 travel trailer project. This was the first year of the Spartan Travel Trailers. Spartan Aircraft Company built planes during WW II and after the war used the same factory, workers, materials and skills to build the Best Travel Trailers made. The body & framework is aircraft aluminum with riveted construction and it can be polished to a mirror finish if wanted. It originally had mahogany paneling in 1946. This one does need complete restoration but is very solid and will last another 75 years with some care. I bought it to restore but health issues are sidelining all of my projects. I did replace the leaf springs, spring hangers, shackles, wheels & tires with BRAND NEW to make it safer to tow. I also repacked the wheel bearings and have a temporary light set up that goes with it to tow it down the road. I towed it 3.5 hours on the highway with a 3/4 ton pickup and it pulls easily, straight & true. It is located about 20 miles west of Martinsville Virginia. No Title. I do have a Dixie stove from a 1951 Spartan Mansion that i will include if the BUYER digs it out of the shed. I am undergoing outpatient hospital treatment and will not be able to help in removing this camper. FULL PAYMENT IS REQUIRED WITH 7 DAYS OF PURCHACE!
