1938 Museum Quality Home Built Trailer. This Trailer was built by legendary GM engineer Elias J. Premo. Premo"s most notable work was designing the early 50"s Corvette but we all know where his heart was in 1938. Built for personal use but never used Elias J. Premo put his heart and soul into this beautiful example of early travel and leisure Americana. Once the trailer was finished it saw little to no use and has been stored in an airplane hangar since it was finished. In complete and original condition this trailer is a blast from the past exposing the beautiful elegance of the 1930"s in untouched original fashion. Including all original museum quality antique accessories like the Preway white gas stove, the mint condition Ice Box Refrigerator, and timeless original light fixtures. All aspects and Items of this beautiful time capsule are untouched and unmatched in original condition. Only serious buyers. The original title as pictured is in hand and is included. Original china handpicked by Mr. Premo is an elegant touch that exposes its near flawless museum quality condition. The trailer bearings are one of few items that have been serviced and is in ready rolling condition. This item is for local pickup only. To preserve its condition and protect this beautiful time capsule from this fast paced world unlike the 1930"s it was designed to accommodate the seller has advised the item be hauled not towed, but it is ready for the purchaser to do as he or she pleases. This is a museum quality antique and should be viewed as and treated as an 80 year old masterpiece, mint condition and fully functioning, but not designed for modern roads and fast paced freeways and expressways. You can hook it up and use it today as Premo designed it in 1938 but it is 80 years old and the Studebaker or F-100 that pulled it in the 30s is alot different than modern vehicles.
