Vehicle description

Survivor 1967 Corvette Stingray Roadster 327/300 4 speed and 3:36 posi traction differential Engine has been rebuilt to factory 300 HP specs Motor is number matching! Engine bay has been meticulously detailed to original factory appearance right down to the chrome spark plug shields! Just completed major tune up using factory repro spark plug wires with all the (usually missing) correct wire looms and tune up kit New water pump, hoses, belt and clutch Protect-o-plate Open Georgia Title Original interior No cracks in the rare wood steering wheel! Carpets show some fading, but considering they’re 50+ years old, they have what we call patina Just finished major undercarriage frame-off overhaul C3 frame professionally modified, sandblasted, and powder coated All new ball joints, shocks, control arm and all other bushings replaced All new brake and fuel lines Brake rotors were turned, new brake pads, and calipers rebuilt All new body mounts and bushings Basically everything underneath was either replaced, rebuilt, or refinished Underside was cleaned and painted matt black Famous original 15 x 6 Rally wheels were cleaned and freshened up Original flat center caps with new trim rings Brand new gold stripe repro tires installed, these were just as they were way back when it was new! Outside, the Sunfire Yellow paint was polished and chips from the old days when this was some bodies everyday car were touched up Paint is aged lacquer, but still shows great even with the touch up Overall I give the paint 7 out of 10, just for withstanding the test of time New USA rear bumpers This is a turn key automobile, much better than your typical driver quality Stingray As noted, I have the Chevrolet Protect-O-Plate, and not only does the 327 have a clear matching VIN, so does the Flint factory and date codes Breakdown after extensive research is this: The first number is the year: 7 (1967) Followed by the production sequence: This matches the VIN and the title Then Plant ID: VO ( Flint Michigan , the only plant making Corvette engines) Date: 403, April 3 rd Take note, as per documentation, delivery date of this car was 5, 1967 And finally the suffix code: The suffix code, HE was a light stamp and looks a bit fudged, as if trying to make the E clearer with an L at some point, but the HE code comes back to a 1967 327 HP with a standard transmission. Check out this information in the pics I posted Just for the record, and if in fact it might have been an HF code, I researched an HF code, and it doesn’t come up at all for this application, so in my opinion, it is in fact an HE. So, verified by the P-O-P, and the fact that just about the whole engine stamp is crystal clear original, the VIN alone trumps the suffix, and the date code is additional proof of a matching number engine to this car Now I’m not saying this is a 100% perfect car or some 100 point show car that people just might drive off some trailer, but it is in my professional opinion, a really better than most, typical driver quality nostalgic ride that will bring you back to better times. It appears to me, that like many others, this car did not have the pants beat out of it, and was most likely driven normally and cared for reasonably well. It does need some small fixes, such as the radio, and maybe a turn signal switch, or some maybe other small stuff. But overall, the major hurdles were all done, it is a turn key, drive it where ever your feel like, car with a killer look! The original documents insure this as a real collector car that will hold its value at the very least, but most likely increase with time. The fact that it still has pretty much all its original seats, paint, and engine put it a step above the rest. All sales pitches aside, this car is available for inspection by appointment here in Northern New Jersey . I can put you in touch with the owner if I can’t answer your inquiry satisfactorily. I urge any and all potential buyers to find their way here for their own hands-on inspection and see this unique car for themselves, or hire the necessary appraiser or specialist of your choice to inspect the car on your behalf. This is a serious collector car with a real value; it is not your typical used car. The deposit listed is required at auction close with the remaining balance due in certified funds, cash, or bank transfer within 10 days. These details will be finalized when the time comes. I will not release this car whatsoever until all funding has cleared. Cash is king, if you intend to fly in and drive it home, wherever that is, you know what to bring. I make no warranties or guarantees of any kind, information and specs listed in this advertisement are common knowledge found on the internet, check it out, I’ve described this great car in my own words and being in the car circles since the seventies, I think I have a pretty good handle on condition by now. But hey, you have to be happy, ask away or better yet, make sure you come see it, once this sale is finished, the car is yours and it’s a done-deal This is a beautiful car, you won’t be disappointed!
