Vehicle description
Below is Information on this Oldsmobile Delta 88 Custom Holiday Coupe!
This car was 1 family owned before me, which I purchased from an old lady in need of fast cash for bills and I am reselling it right away.
Has a Rocket 455 V8 with its original freshly rebuilt carburetor
New Battery
2 Brand new Tires on Front
Back tires have pretty good tread!
29,881 original miles! !
NOTE: The old couple I purchased it from said they only drove it on Sundays to church way back in the day, it"s been out in their garage & then sent to storage since 1989 and they would pull it out and drive it or start it 2 to 3 times a year. That"s why it only has 100 miles on it in the last year after the tune up. On a hand written piece of paper in 1986 grease job & mileage was 09117 & in 1991 they did Dish joints mileage was 10853 & the stopped documenting maintenance. I believe the couple but I guess there is no real super proof. Plus if it had over 100k miles in Wisconsin it would show more wear I feel for being original. Picture number 3 and zoom in and you will see a short mileage speedometer I think. Headliner condition is very good but shoulder seat belts have no clips which I don"t know what they would have originally but old couple added some very big paperclips looking things to hold shoulder seat-belt when not in use. The back seats are in great condition and all interior is very good except those 2 splits on front seat & 2 little brush marks from were front seats go up on, which is located backside of the front seat. With original interior has no real wear, that"s why this car I feel only has 29K original miles. + Car does not smoke out exhaust. Idles good and doesn"t choke people when running. When you first fire it up after sitting a long time you could get a very tiny puff but people say that"s normal and when it"s been driven and you restart it there is none from what I"ve seen. Transmission is solid I feel, It can spin tires pretty easily, can"t feel shifting at all and on interstate doing 75mph feels easy. It"s too original and doesn"t show over 100k wear in my opinion!
Garage kept & winter stored
There is no air conditioning, but I was told there are vents by drivers feet & passenger feet that have pull knobs to open & close so that air can travel through them to help cool the car down when traveling.
* Only owned this car for 3 weeks so I am putting everything I know so far that would be of interest so there is nothing hidden about this car. Honesty is king =)

Know Issues / Disclosures:
Super Small Sticker of 2 blues brother guys on drivers side window post. Should be removable with the right goo gone or something but no promises.
Passenger side rear seat Ashtray cover is missing.
2 splits in front seat about 5 inches long, 1 on drivers side & 1 on passenger side.
Might need a new oil seal & rear seal at some point "mechanic said", but said it was not to hard for anyone mechanically inclined but could take some time if they really wanted it perfect. LOOK AT PICS! I don"t know I"m not mechanically inclined.
A couple spots were paint is starting to bubble/tiny rust dots at bottom by base/runner. Bumpers & runner chrome is blistering/rusting a little (see pics)
Might have a shock/strut going out because once & a while it squeaks when bouncing.
Was told Hood might not be original, but came off another exact car & color, but matches well & has a 3 inch scratch.
Paint (Aspen Green) is original with some fading and chips/dings. Might have micro rust spots of were paint is chipped, but in all good for age I feel. Back right quarter panel has a 4 inch scratch by brake light. (See Pic)
Vinyl Black top is good but just barely starting to peal up at back trunk seam (See Picture)
Air cushions that are put in the springs in the back are non functional right now? ? I guess you can put these in to make car rise up a little to look beefy.
Before I purchased car I took it to a mechanic and had it raised up to make sure things were fair and no rot or big rust holes. He said it looks pretty good and didn"t see anything very bothersome. That"s why I bought it there was no rot or big rust holes.
Positive Aspects:
Runs great! Idles Great! Got good power.
Radio works, wipers & lights.
Gauges work and warning lights.
Interior is nice for its age. With back seat having cool stitching designs.
Good breaking and good acceleration.
New Battery & Nice tires
29,881 Original miles! ! ! ! !
All 4 Windows roll up & all intact. =)
Interior is in really good condition for its age!
Doesn"t smoke & Drives smooth.
Garage kept & winter stored
Note: This car was kept well maintained for the almost 50 years of its life and is enjoyable for whoever purchases it. It would be an amazing car to spice up or just to keep the way it is.
