1991 GMC 3500 12V Cummins 5 speed manual
One of the first Cummins Swaps in the land out of Tennessee Diesel Conversions. It was a Pioneer for its day. Originally a UCI Outrider Conversion out of Texas, decked out with Red interior and wood grain, and performance for the 6.2L helped out by Banks Performance. It found its way to Tennessee Diesel Conversions where it got a Transplant "94 12V Cummins backed by a GM 5 speed transmission. Its sitting on 37in tires and a Superlift, front end has been gone through, rear leafs are new, new head with 100hp injectors, new AC compressor, new alternator, Scheid Diesel P-pump, 91 gallon fuel tank/toolbox, drilled and slotted front discs. Binder will be provided with receipts of everything that has been done to it over the years. Overall this is a very rare truck, f or the traditional beginning of the 1988 model year, GM ended sales of 1 ⁄ 2 -ton R/V trucks; 3 ⁄ 4 -ton trucks were discontinued after 1989. For 1990 and 1991, the series was offered by Chevrolet and GMC as R/V 3500 crew-cab pickups and chassis cabs, along with full-size SUVs. The interior of the truck looks great, very comfortable bench seats, dash is in good shape and all the gauges seem to be working properly. Power windows and locks work, but if you know anything about these trucks you know these windows go up slowly. Exterior is in decent shape, with the biggest issue being the driver door. Has highly sought after visor. Clear coat is peeling on fender/bed top areas. There are ding, small dents, rock chips and everything else that happens to a truck when you actually use it but the body is solid. Truck runs very well, very strong. Can be used as-is or taken over the top and resurrect its glory days and give it a fresh paint job. There"s nothing like passing a Prius in an old 12V Diesel Truck.
