For sale is a 1981 Mercedes 280E in original condition. Canada car, 1998xx kms/1190xx miles, driven occasionally so odometer reading will go up. Last year for the gasoline-powered W123 series in North America, M110.984 straight six with double overhead cams. Not many of these around - the gas-engine coupes can still be found occasionally but the sedans are pretty rare.
Remarkably clean original interior, carpets, door cards and floors. No cracks in dash, unheard of for these. All glass, trim and chrome is original. New fuel pump/filter, plugs, wires, cap/rotor, radiator hoses/thermostat etc. Everything works but the air conditioning. Needs paint and exhaust work. Hagerty classic car value in #4 (fair) condition is US$4,400/C$5,600 and this car is in better shape than that.
