Vehicle description
Price is firm.
I"m selling my 1994 Toyota 4Runner. It is in excellent shape for the age, with very few flaws. I purchased this in 2018 with a blown engine. It had an oil leak and been run out of oil. I imported a JDM engine and transmission(sold as a package, original trans had no issues) with under 60K and my friend who is a Toyota mechanic did the swap. Engine and trans swap cost over $5,000.
The truck runs like a champ! These are getting incredibly hard to find in this condition, and it"s not uncommon to see them on for over $12,000. I just don"t drive it enough to keep it, and would like to see it go to a good home.
Everything works on the vehicle, including 4wd, rear sliding window, moonroof, cruise control, power windows, defroster, air conditioner. . EVERYTHING! It even has the original Toyota floor mats and wheels. The truck turns heads everywhere I go, there is not many of these around anymore.
There is really no rust on the body except for a slight bubble beginning to appear on the passenger wheel well and one spot starting to appear on the chrome bumper. If they are addressed now, it wont be a big problem. its still very solid. There is some scaling underneath but a lot less than on most northern trucks. It was definitely garage kept you can tell. The only mechanical "issue" is that the fuel tank builds pressure, probably needs an evap canister. I just run it with the gas cap off. You could either drill a hole in the gas cap or replace the evap canister(the part is available and cheap. I am selling the truck as-is. If it doesn"t sell, i will repair and sell for more money.
Thanks for looking!
