Selling my rock crawler project due to lack of time
Runs and drives
Ready for solid axle swap
Pros:
Toyota
5vz 3.4
Manual trans from 3.0 (passenger drop t case)
New motor from my other rock crawler that I went V8 in
New motor had 100k on it, now at 120,000
20,000 miles on engine refresh
New metal headgaskets
3 angle valve job
New exhaust Valves (all 12 I have receipt) New Headbolts
All new OEM Toyota seals (front main, rear main, cam seals, valve cover gaskets, valve stem seals) New Radiator
02 4runner clear headlights
Projector and HID swap
Custom unique front bumper powder coated sparkly black
1 piece 3" rear CV driveshaft
4wd transfer case
Cloth seats Bumper fits a 12,000lb Badland winch (400$ at harbor freight)
IVE INCLUDED A PIC OF THE ENGINE RECEIPTS, PLEASE KEEP IN MIND I WORKED AT THE MACHINE SHOP AT THE TIME, SO ITS MISSING 700$ISH OF LABOR FOR THE VALVE JOB AND ADJUSTING ALL 24 VALVES.
ALSO IF YOU LOOK AT THE RECIPT DATES, I WAS BUILDING THE MOTOR IN 2014, THEN I LET IT SIT FOR A YEAR AND FOUND A DONOR CHASIS IN DECEMBER OF 2015 (RADIATOR RECEIPT SHOWS THIS)
Cons:
suspension is DONE
Currently 2wd waiting on axle swap
390xxx on chassis
Salvage title from drivers quarter panel hit at 300k
Cruise control doesn"t work (would if trans sensors got connected for neutral and 5th gear) Could use a better HID kit
I still use the vehicle for work, but it"s ready for a solid axle swap.
This is a good doner if you need a solid engine!
I can throw in a 6 lug passenger drop Dana 44 full width unknown condition
