I am offering my very good and completely restored Land Rover Series 3. The vehicle has been extensively restored and, thanks to some updates, drives better than new. This beautiful Landy Series 3 is an extremely rare vehicle on the US market and an highlight in every city and off-road. VIN: LBCAG2AA173351 06/30/1983 The vehicle frame was chemically stripped of paint, hot-dip galvanized, painted several layers with Brantho-Korrux rust protection and flooded inside with Mike Sanders rust protection grease. This frame will never rust again. The bulkhead and the radiator grille were also hot-dip galvanized, so rust is no longer a problem at these neuralgic points. The rest is made of aluminum anyway. The chassis has been completely overhauled, all bushings, shock absorbers, brakes, springs are new. A stabilizer was retrofitted on the rear axle and a steering damper on the front axle. A Land Rover power steering was retrofitted so that the Landy can also be easily moved in the city and parked anywhere. The Landy 200TDI engine was retrofitted in consultation with the German Technical Supervision. Therefore, the Landy now has 113PS (265Nm) and with the longer Ashcroft gear ratio, the Landy Vmx drives 130km / h (80 miles per hour). Since the engine is based on the same crankcase, the engine fits the original engine mounts and gearbox. So nothing was welded or modified on the frame for the engine. All conversions can be retrofitted. The gearbox and the axles have been completely rebuilt. The Landy was elaborately and very high quality painted in the original color light pastel green and the rims in limestone. The hard top is still original. Comfortable Audi A8 seats (with seat heating and electric seat adjustment) are installed in the interior, but these can easily be exchanged for the original seats (new Landy Deluxe seats). Additional instruments (tachometer, clock, oil pressure indicator) have also been retrofitted in the interior. The dashboard has also been reupholstered in leather. An air conditioning system is also completely retrofitted from the Defender, but 2 lines have to be connected and the air conditioning system filled. The Landy has the two front side tanks (each 45L) and a rear tank with 70L. The Landy also has a winch in the front area. Various additional connections for headlights or other electrical attachments were also created. A 3-point seat belt was retrofitted. A small reversing camera was also retrofitted for safety reasons.
