Vehicle description
RARE, 2006 Jeep Liberty CRD 4X4. Drives great, but needs new head gasket. Special Forces, Senior Officer retiree has a kid going to college and it is time to pay!
The Great: My CRD spent its life below the snow belt (South VA), and as the other owner, I have never driven in the snow. Deluxe edition with sunroof, better stereo, cold weather heater plug. Rare dark green, Khaki interior- no rips. NEW: Iron Man Heavy Suspension, Bilstein Shocks, 235/75 R16 All-Terrain Tires, Upper/Lower Ball joints, Alternator, Hoses & Thermostat. Timing Chain Replaced previously according to Mechanic. 4X4 works as it should. Optional 373 rear end. Really accelerates for a 4X4 Truck. I get around 22 MPG. Cold AC, Perfect Interior, etc. Main thing is 2.8L, Double over head cam Turbo Diesel.
The Issue : I have a confirmed head gasket leak. No smoke or water in oil, Manifests itself in over pressurization of the cooling system-showing low coolant after long drive. NO history of heat damage. Drives now, but must leave cap open. Come test drive. Also, error light says cylinder one needs a new glow plug. That is it. Drives fine, really. 373 quick, factory option rear end.
The Offer: Come drive, but bid early. I can start and drive for you online live. BTW-Good luck finding one at the price KBB or Edmonds say you can. I could not and looked a very long time. I have 10K in and they aren"t making any more of these. Very rare in this condition, and impossible to beat once fixed- really! Bid confidently, it is really awesome.
