1980 Jeep J-10 Step-side manual transmission.
1 of only 1,264 built between 1980-1983.
The engine was rebuilt about 500 miles ago and runs smooth. Steering is tight. The truck is still being used, so milage may increase. The truck itself has 177,000 miles on it. In the last 1,500 miles, the following has been done:
*Rebuilt the original 6 cylinder engine *Replaced front rotors and pads *Replaced steering box *Replace suspension system *New interior with Hi/Lo heated seats, done with marine grade vinyl. *Additional storage unit installed behind the seats *New exhaust *New tires *Spare tire holder installed. This is bolted on, and can be removed *Frame sanded and painted *Rocker panels replaced *Window washer reservoir was replaced *New battery *New window felt on both doors (they are a little tight right now)
There is some minor body rust. It appears the truck was repainted at one time, and the clear coat is peeling in some areas. The radio does not work, though new rear speakers have been installed. The knobs for wiper and lights work, but are missing the "knob" part, same with window cranks.
Heater works, as do all lights and horn.
Truck comes with an original 1978 CB AM/FM radio. A set of Honcho decals is included, along with a new jack.
