Vehicle description
This is a "no reserve" auction, there is no buy it now price! The lowest I will take is the opening bid!
This is a highly modified 1967 scout. It is mounted to a 1990"s chevy s10 blazer frame. It has a much more modern driving feel to it than an original scout, plus it has a hydraulic FIVE speed with overdrive, new master and slave, new clutch, and a much more powerful, fuel efficient engine ! So it has power steering, disc brakes etc. from the blazer, making it much easier to repair, or find parts, It has also been converted from fuel injection to a new carburetor, new high performance HEI distributor, and new fuel pump for simplicity. The front end has new tie rod ends, drag links, idler arm, rag joint has been replaced with a custom U-joint, all for tighter feeling steering. The truck has new 30 inch tires with less than 1 mile on them on aluminum wheels. The body is coated in bed liner, the floors are original and solid, bed is dented, but not too bad! The truck has new wiring and gauges, including a GPS speedometer, new ignition, dimmer, and turn signal switches. It also has new fog lights and custom bumpers/doors/ roll cage. no top, no stock doors. The fuel tank location is changed to that of the blazer, original holes for gas tank are eliminated. custom fuel door was added. The truck starts/stops/ runs/ drives. It is quick for a scout! Truck is not perfect, it is not a new Honda!. dents/imperfections here and there, may need additional work/finishing, depending on what you want to do with it. currently intended as a fair weather/off road toy. I have not driven it far as it has no tags, but seems to be a good running, driving toy so far! I have a fresh Texas title in my name in hand. You are bidding to OWN the truck, not the right of first refusal, therefore the $500 deposit is due at the end of the auction and is not refundable. You are welcome to ask questions or set up a time to come see the truck and I will do my best to accommodate you.
