This is probably the cleanest and best-looking 99 Camry in Kentucky. All maintenance records from Day One. Included are orig bill of sale, owner"s manual & guide, orig spare tire (used twice), tool kit, Haynes repair manual for Camrys 1983-91 (300+pages),
Upgrades since Fall 2019 incl 4 new tires, battery, timing belt, water pump, starter motor. The car ran fine until 3 weeks ago, then I took it to the wrong mechanic. Now, after installing lots of new stuff, he says he can"t fix it. He says all the original parts were put back on.
1988 Toyota Camry LE Sedan, 4-cyl, 128,000 true miles Built in Japan and originally sold by a Toyota dealer in New Mexico Original equipment includes: • Dealer’s invoice/bill of sale • Owner’s manual and owner’s guide • Original toolkit • Original cigaret liter • Original full-size spare tire (used twice) * C omplete maintenance records from new-to-present • Haynes repair manual for Camrys 1983-91, 300+ pages with photos, diagrams and blowup drawings Replacements/repairs since fall 2019 • 4 new tires • New battery • New timing belt • New water pump • Replace starter motor • Aircon serviced This Camry was built at Toyota’s plant in Kyushu, Japan and sold by a Toyota dealership in Alberquerque, New Mexico. I bought it in Feb 1993 from a private individual in Southern California when it had 35,000 miles on the odometer. I have driven it up and down the West Coast from Mezico to Oregon, from SCal to the Grand Canyon, and across the U.S. to North Carolina. It has never been in an accident, or had a mechanical breakdown. Appearance and condition of the car are exceptional. The original gunmetal gray paint looks like new. The maroon velour interior is very clean, and plastic dash, etc. shows no sign of fading or discoloring. Lights and turn signals all work. There is no rust. There are minor issues: Rear window defroster doesn’t work; there are minor dings and scratches on the paint. This is no average 1988 Camry and, given Toyota Camrys’ reputation for reliably, can reasonably be expected to be capable of another 150,000 miles. My firm price is $2200. I am selling it because my driver"s license has expired, my insurance has expired and after 75 years driving I’ve had enough.
