Vehicle description
I am regretfully selling my awesome car to get a truck. I"m a handyman and unfortunately the car just isn"t cutting it anymore. Odometer reads 121,717 as of this posting.
No mechanical issues at all. Transmission is tight, steering is tight. Acceleration is awesome. I average 27 miles per gallon between street and freeway travel. I am the 2nd owner and acquired the vehicle previously while working for Toyota as a trade-in that I purchased pre-auction.
Minor defects include: Traction control button has depressed into dash but still works. Driver window (power everything, door locks/windows) assembly is loose. I have superglue but will leave it to you if you want to superglue it or just buy a new assembly. Passenger window motor is out. Driver seat is frayed and I have a seat cover to prevent further damage. Other than that, everything is in perfect working order.
I was hoping to keep the vehicle well into the 300,000 mile range and have changed the oil every 3,000 miles. In the time I"ve owned it, maybe 4 years, I have changed the oil at least 12 times. I have put 40,000 miles on it. Just to give you an idea of how overboard I am in taking care of my car.
Never smoked in. New air filter. Could use a motor mount (20 dollar part and 15 minutes of your time) and I just changed the thermostat. Could probably use seals and gaskets in the future as I get a drop or two of fluids under it per night. No cracks in anything. Headers are good. A/C is ice cold. Why am I selling this car? ? I know I"ll regret it but if you need a truck and don"t have one, life kinda sucks at times.
Oh I have a lifetime warranty on the tires, too. That"s another 1,000+ dollars in benefit for you. Just go to Wal-Mart and they will repair or replace the tires for free as long as you have the car.
Won"t last. I want the car to go to someone that can appreciate the value they"re getting. With minor upkeep you will get another 10+ years / 200,000 miles on a car for what you"d put as a down payment on a new one.
