Vehicle description
This rare 1966 Dodge Dart GT, car was restored around 15 years ago. It had the original 6 cylinder engine and automatic transmission rebuilt, as well as a new brake system. At the same time it was painted and got a new upholstery. The car is complete. Nice black interior, new door panels, seats, carpet and headliner. The rare center console is also in a very nice condition.
Since the restoration it has not been used very much and mostly been parked, but the California sun has scorched the paint job . The clear coat is peeling of and it"s very faded on the top and on the trunk lid. Not too bad to use as a beater however.
The body is very straight.
Very minor rust at the bottom of the driver side front and rear fenders. NO rust in the floor pans, or doors, nor around the windows. It appears to never have been in any accident. No signs of prior repairs.
This car runs great and very smooth. No leaks or noise from engine or transmission.
The wipers, heater, lights, turn signals, and all gauges and gauge lights are working.
Someone replaced the original dash with a custom panel and gauges.
All windows roll up and down, doors close easy. Good glass, decent chrome.
New gas tank and exhaust system. It has a set of very nice 1967 Dodge Dart option hubcaps.
The car has a California title and is currently registered.
(EXTRA PARTS INCLUDED: Two original gauge clusters, a rocker panel molding, a grille, two headlight bezels )
Please contact me for more pictures, or a video of me driving the car.
Good luck bidding on this cool little classic Dart GT .
/ Please note, that the picture of the car lowered is just a computer rendering of how i would have done it. ./
