Vehicle description
1985 Chevrolet G20.
Mileage ticker rolls over at 100k, so I"m not sure how many actual miles are on it. Collectors vintage camper van. This model and conversion is very rare, and I haven"t found another one like it. The camper conversion is original from factory when it was built. I want a different camper van layout and didn"t want to gut this original van, so I"m selling it. I have put thousands of dollars fixing all the mechanical issues which is now all fixed. The rest of the work that needs to be done is the fun stuff which is all aesthetic. You can get a new paint job, maybe new upholster, curtains, whatever you want. The van used to be covered head to toe in stickers, which I removed and did my best to also remove the remaining glue as well. It is an old van, so you need to pump the gas when starting it (automatic choke) and let it sit for 3-5 minutes before driving for best performance.
Recent work: Transmission pan, filer, and gasket Distributor cap, rotor, and spark plugs Brand new Starter Carburetor rebuild Leaf springs All filters Disc break pad set Brake Rotor Brand new front window Set of winter tires (one season on them) Set of summer tires (no wear) Fully reworked propane system
Features: Retractable roof Propane fridge Propane stove w/ 4 burners and oven Sink connected with 25 gallon tank under couch/bed Pull out couch Closet Bluetooth sound system Skylight; openable Second battery that runs appliances and lights in the back Automatic choke Original Owner"s Manuel
Known problems: Drivers and passenger windows roll down half way Aesthetic rust (no structural rust) Back doors don"t open (I think it"s a lock issue) Sink"s graywater pipe is disconnected 2 of the cabinet hinges don"t lock closed Couch cushions are sinking into the springs below it
